Who are we?
There’s a lot of game companies out there, but how many can say they got their start in the lucrative, high stakes world of arctic river boat gambling. When you’re up to your mukluks in whale blubber and harp seals and you’ve just been dealt an inside straight and you’ve got the poker face of Louie Anderson at an all you can eat gyro bar, that’s when the ideas flow.
But we’re not just about gold or clothing made out of gold or little golden bobble head dolls. Absolutely not! At Crawl Space Games we’re about the earth. In fact, many of our ideas are generated during the hours spent strip mining the gently sloping hills of the Midwest. You’d think it’s pretty flat, but you’d be wrong. There’s nothing like digging a three hundred foot crater in the earth and displacing countless woodland creatures to get the ol’ creative juices flowing.
We give. We give until it hurts. Literally. Personally, I once punched a drifter in the face over a dozen times until he agreed to take some pocket change from me. Some people are entirely too proud.
So, what are we about? Can we narrow it down to one thing? Fun. And fear. Mostly fear. Fear and despair. I’ve got to stop robbing nursing homes.
