“The best parts about Zombies Ala Mode is that it ramps up difficult in a pretty linear way, allowing players to adapt to the gradual increase in difficulty. The game also throws in a couple of other gameplay modes other than collecting ice cream in between the Career levels, one would have players avoiding obstacles and another zapping bugs. A survival mode along with the bug zapper mode are unlocked for single person play once the player completes the Career mode. I like my ice cream and Zombies Ala Mode serves it up really well with some really fun and exciting/challenging gameplay.”

“Graphically, the game has a terrific cartoon look that gives it a fun, whimsical feeling. Colors are bright and cheery, the graphics are sharp, and there is a good level of humor infused throughout. The soundtrack utilizes a variety of tracks, all of which feature upbeat tempos that are pleasant to listen to and fitting for the somewhat frenzied gaming style. Controls are accelerometer-based for movement (with a sensitivity slider in the Options menu) and touch-based for handing off finished cones or purchasing shop items.”
